Alessia Cara
At the age of 19, she published her first debut single, Here. It was a huge hit and received praise from both listeners and critics alike. In the Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked the single at 19. Even Rolling Stone called the song one of their Top Songs in the year 2015. The same year she launched her first album Know It All, the single Scars to Your Beautiful ranked at the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200. It also was one of the original five songs. In an interview that Cara gave in conjunction with Rap Up, the song held a lot in the minds of many of the listeners who related to her personal story of finding acceptance and appreciation for yourself. Cara's music often contains positive thoughts about mental wellness and the importance of loving oneself. She has been struggling with anxiety and insomnia, both of which has influenced her music. Reuters reported that she called her album "half chaotic, but half done". She describes her growth by therapy and is adamant about encouraging anyone else to seek out help when they need it. Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on the 11th of July 1996. Alessia Cara's parents bought her their first guitar when she was just 10 years old. It was the beginning of her journey musically. At the age of 13, she started covering songs she loved on YouTube to prove to her fans that she was talented and was able to go after a career as musician. In fact the cover songs Sweater Weather is the song that made her the focus of EP Entertainment. They allowed her to create and create her own songs.
