Meagan Monique Good was born on the 8 1981 within the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle, her mother who managed her in her teens. Her dad Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. She grew with her 3 brothers in Canyon Country California, and started her acting career at the age of four. Early in her career, she appeared as an actor on television shows such as Doogie Howser Amen or M.D. When she was 13 in 1995, she was cast in her first film Friday. She first became famous in 1997 with her performance in the role of Cisely batiste (a struggling teenage girl) on Eve's Bayou, for which she received two nominations, and also received an N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good was able to play small role in television and films for the next couple of years and began transitioning into more mature roles during the early 2000s. In films, she was Mya In Think Like a Man with a cast of many stars and was the character Ms. Stevens as Dysfunctional.
