Dua Lipa the English singer-songwriter was born in London on 22 August 1995. In 2014, following a career as an actress and model she signed with Warner Bros Records. She released her debut self-titled album in the year 2017. The album peaked at the top of the charts, number three on the U.K. Albums Chart and released eight singles, including Be the One I.D.G.A.F as well as The U.K. number-one single New Rules which peaked at number 6 in the United States. Lipa won her Brit Awards in 2018 for British Female Solo Artist as well as British Breakthrough Act and her album has been certified platinum throughout the world. She was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. She has Bosnian heritage through her maternal grandmother.
